ERA pilot format

Structured Runs.
Clear Standards.

ERA’s first events are planned as non-wheel-to-wheel time trials, designed around controlled access to a paved course.

Vehicle eligibility

Compact light electric motos.

REPRESENTATIVE PLATFORMS

Pilot focus

The pilot is focused on approved compact light electric moto platforms of comparable size, weight, and performance.

  • Sur-Ron Light Bee X
  • Talaria Sting / MX series
  • Similar compact light electric moto platforms

OUTSIDE THE CURRENT FOCUS

Not currently aimed at

  • Lower-power commuter or pedal-oriented e-bikes
  • Full-size electric dirt bikes or motocross bikes
  • Unusually large, extreme-performance, or unsuitable vehicles

Final vehicle eligibility is subject to venue, insurance, and organizer approval.

Rider eligibility

Baseline: 13+

ERA’s baseline participant eligibility is age 13 and older where venue and insurance rules allow.

Minor participation requires parent or legal guardian consent, plus any procedures required by the venue or insurance provider.

If venue or insurance rules are stricter, the stricter rule applies.

Safety standards

Prepared to ride.

  • Full-face helmet
  • Gloves
  • Long sleeves and long pants
  • Over-ankle footwear
  • Mandatory rider briefing
  • Pre-event vehicle check
  • EMT on site

Event staff retain authority to remove unsafe riders or vehicles from participation.

Future development

Prove the operation. Then progress.

ERA’s long-term vision is to develop a repeatable series and progress toward more advanced formats as the operation proves itself. The current focus remains controlled time trials.
